Black Masterbatch Series
Standard PE/EVA Black Masterbatch
General-purpose black masterbatch for PE/EVA film, injection molding and extrusion.

What is Standard PE/EVA Black Masterbatch?
ZFH Standard PE/EVA Black Masterbatch is a carbon black concentrate based on LDPE, LLDPE or EVA carrier, designed for polyethylene and EVA applications such as blown film, injection molding, extrusion and general industrial products.
It provides stable blackness, good dispersion and easy processing. Different grades with various carbon black content and carrier combinations are available to meet customer requirements on appearance, film thickness, processing method and cost.

Representative Grades
The following are typical grades for reference. Custom grades are available upon request.
| Grade | Carrier | Carbon Black Content | Main Application | Features | Recommended Addition |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZFH-6055 | LLDPE | 50% | Film / Injection / Extrusion | ISAF + HAF, high blackness | 1–4% |
| ZFH-6045P | LDPE + LLDPE | 45% | High-performance and ultra-thin film | P-type carbon black, fine dispersion | 1–4% |
| ZFH-6042 | LLDPE | 42% | Film / Injection / Extrusion | ISAF, general purpose | 1–4% |
| ZFH-VA2030A | EVA | 30% | Specialty carriers, elastomers, foaming | P-type carbon black on EVA carrier | 1–4% |
The data above are typical values, not for specification. The full range spans 30–50% carbon black across LDPE, LLDPE and EVA carriers with ISAF, HAF, combined and P-type carbon black, in filler-free and filler grades. Custom grades can be developed according to your requirements.

FAQ
1.What is the recommended addition level?
The recommended addition level depends on the grade, base resin, product thickness, blackness target and processing method. For many general PE/EVA applications, a low addition level can already provide good color coverage, while thinner films or higher-blackness requirements may need a different grade or dosage. We recommend confirming the final level through application testing.
2.Can this masterbatch be used for both film and injection molding?
Yes. Different grades are available for blown film, injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and other PE/EVA applications. However, the same grade may not be optimal for every process, so selection should consider melt flow, dispersion, surface appearance and end-product requirements.
3.How do I choose the right grade?
Please consider your base polymer, processing method, product thickness, required blackness, surface quality and cost target. For thin film or applications sensitive to defects, a higher-dispersion grade may be more suitable; for general molding or thicker products, a standard grade may be sufficient.
4.Can you match our existing black masterbatch?
Yes. If you provide your current masterbatch sample, TDS, COA or application result, we can compare the key requirements and recommend a similar or adjusted grade. Matching is based on actual application needs rather than only carbon black content.
5.Do you provide samples and TDS?
Yes. Samples and technical data sheets are available for applicable grades. Please provide your base resin, processing method and application details so we can recommend the most suitable sample for evaluation.
6.What information do you need for grade recommendation?
Please provide the base polymer, processing method, current addition rate, product thickness, target blackness, surface requirements and any current production problems. If available, your existing masterbatch sample or technical data will help us make a more accurate recommendation.
7.Can the carrier or carbon black content be customized?
Yes. Depending on the project, the carrier system, carbon black content and formulation can be adjusted to suit different processing conditions, appearance requirements and cost targets. Custom development is confirmed based on the customer's actual application.
8.Will the masterbatch affect the physical properties of the finished product?
The effect depends on the formulation, addition level, carrier compatibility and base resin. Our grade-selection approach aims to minimize unnecessary impact on the finished product while achieving the required blackness and dispersion. For applications with stricter mechanical-property requirements, we recommend testing the selected grade in the customer's actual formulation and process.
