White Masterbatch (TiO₂)

What is White Masterbatch (TiO₂)?

ZFH® white masterbatch is a concentrated dispersion of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) on a PE/PP carrier, engineered for high whiteness, opacity and hiding power across film, injection molding and sheet extrusion.

Available in rutile-grade TiO₂ formulations from general-purpose to high-coverage, it delivers a clean, bright white with consistent dispersion and is available in filler-free grades where mechanical performance and surface finish matter.

Which applications is it best for?

ApplicationWhy this grade fits
Blown & cast filmBright white with high opacity at low gauge
Injection moldingUniform white, strong hiding power
Sheet & thermoformingConsistent coverage across thickness
Food-grade packagingFDA / GB-compliant white grades available

Key Features

  • High rutile TiO₂ loading for whiteness and opacity
  • Strong hiding power and bright, clean white
  • PE / PP carrier matched to your resin
  • Filler-free and general-purpose grades
  • Recommended addition rate 2–6%

Why choose ZFH for this masterbatch?

  • Verified compliance — SGS-tested to RoHS (EU) 2015/863, EN 71-3:2019+A2:2024 and REACH SVHC; FDA / GB grades available.
  • Dispersion you can rely on — two-stage high-intensity twin-screw extrusion for consistent jetness and clean filtration.
  • Made to order — carbon black loading, carrier resin and additive package tuned to your line.
  • Engineered per polymer — matched carriers for PE, PP, EVA, ABS, PC, PA and POM.
  • Documentation on request — TDS, SGS reports and samples for qualification before first order.

FAQ

What addition rate should I use for ZFH white masterbatch?

A typical addition rate is 2–6% depending on the opacity and whiteness required, the base resin and the part thickness. Thin film generally needs a higher loading or a higher-TiO₂ grade to reach full coverage.

Is ZFH white masterbatch suitable for food-contact packaging?

Yes — FDA / GB food-contact-compliant white grades are available and SGS-tested. Tell us your application and target market and we will recommend a compliant grade and provide the TDS and reports.
